Boy Mom Group Support

Steps to Success for Boy Moms

Step 1
Commit to Your Son

You’re here because you’re committed to raising a boy who is kind, calm, and cooperative - and most importantly, connected to you. What a gift. But it’s not easy, especially if he’s strong-willed or dealing with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, or other challenges.
Today, double down on that commitment and start bringing peace back into your home.

Step 1
Step 2
Join One of Our Groups (Free or Paid)

Looking for group coaching? A self-paced course? SOS support when he’s melting down? A private coaching session when you need it? Our group programs have it all. Join a supportive community of moms working toward the same goal:
Become an expert in The Boy Mom Method™.

Step 2
Step 3
Follow the 4-Step Framework

Our groups follow a 4-Step Framework for raising a calm and cooperative son- without needing to be 100% consistent. You’ll use the same framework for screen time battles, defiance, backtalk, school refusal, and any other challenges that come up. The beauty of this method is that…
It’s fully customizable to your son, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Step 3
Step 4
Celebrate Your Wins

Meet the new you: calm, confident, and deeply connected. You’ll understand your son’s needs, know how to respond to new challenges, and feel prepared for the teen years and beyond. This is your moment to feel like the mom you always wanted to be.

Step 4

I meet with boy moms like you every month to answer parenting questions and teach my approach to raising calm, kind, and cooperative boys.

TESTIMONIALS

Rachel has been a gem of information. I got real down-to-earth responses and advice when I needed it. She is a very hands-on coach and is passionate about her vision of helping Boy Moms survive and thrive in their relationship with their kiddo. I am in the program now, and I so appreciate her skills in guiding me to be a better parent to my son.

Rachel is an expert every boy mom needs. My AuDHD son's relationship with me has improved 1000% as I have learned so many insights, tips, and simple tweaks in my approach with my son and really gotten in touch with what I truly value and want, bringing my Type A and his Alpha Male personalities into sync, which is spectacular. These parenting revelations take me into my heart, leading me to experience profound and exponential change in our interactions. Rachel is brilliant and I am beyond thankful.

Rachel has been a huge help in bringing peace to our family. I've been a part of the Boy Mom Academy for several months now and have done some private sessions with Rachel and it’s made a big difference in my relationship with my son. She creates a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. She doesn’t just offer advice—she helps me understand my son’s behavior, my own reactions, and how to respond in ways that strengthen our relationship. I highly recommend contacting Rachel if you're having any parenting challenges!

FAQs

Most frequent questions and answers

I believe we need education, coaching AND community. Group programs give you all of that. If you need (or prefer) individual coaching, you can schedule a low-cost trial session, and I’ll help you decide your next steps.

My coaching programs are designed to give you the education and support you need to raise a boy with or without a diagnosis. If you’re considering an assessment, I will help you decide whether it’s the right choice and gather the information you need to make a successful, cost-effective decision. If he already has a diagnosis, you’ll also get tremendous support. This is my specialty.

Amazing! Yes! Bring them on this journey with you. They can participate in all of it.

If your partner is a dad, we have a “Dad Lab” that meets monthly to work on parenting strategies and receive coaching from me. Our Boy Mom Academy members love this option!

A very common question! I always say to “start with the parenting.” If you see no change in your child’s behavior after adjusting your approach, you’ll know that a child-based intervention is appropriate. Don’t jump to child-based intervention until you’ve hired a professional to help you make changes at home. You’ll save money and protect your son from the medicalization of boyhood by gathering important information about what works and what doesn’t.

I’m a Certified Parent Coach through Seattle Pacific University’s Parent Coaching Institute. I hold an MSW from UC Berkeley, with a specialization in Children and Family Services. I have a Breakthrough Parenting credential and I’m a long time coach and educator for Jewish Children and Family Services. I also have 3 boys who didn’t start as sweet as they are now.

Aside from cost, there are three main differences. The paid program is called The Boy Mom Academy. It includes:
✔️ A comprehensive course on The Boy Mom Method™ for you to access on your own time via an app.
✔️ Topic-based WhatsApp threads for on-demand coaching and support.
✔️ Weekly group coaching with Rachel
✔️ Discounts on private coaching, a Dad’s group, and a book group.
✔️  A money-back guarantee

The free program is a monthly support group to get to know Rachel and ask your parenting questions.

I would love to observe your kids in your home for an added fee, but I don’t work with them. I teach you how to work with and influence them. Contact me if you’d like to schedule a home visit.

No. Boy Mom Academy Members who complete their full program commitment receive lifetime access to the program portal, meaning they will have access to everything inside as long as I’m running The Boy Mom Academy. This alone is worth the price of the program.
